So what is everyone using as their chosen antibiotics? I know some antibiotics make people feel worse and some just don't help.
I am currently on Zithromax and Rifampin which are apparently the most common treatment combination. I haven't had any adverse reactions as of yet and all my levels seem to stay within normal range.

I was on Doxy for months, could get a good Herx if I didn't pay attention and pace it on my own. Now off it, and back sliding terribly. Don't have a LLMD in FL, couldn't go and see the Dr. from every two weeks in NJ. Won't say HER name in public but she should be ashamed of disappearing, dropping pts., never returning calls, no staff, no fax, claims her email isn't working Duh, get a gmail for free.

Welcome to the forums. So you had an LLMD in NJ and she just picked up and left her practice? Without advising her patients? CLICK HERE for an ILADS LLMD in your area down in FL. This is where I found my LLMD that I am very happy with.

I was on Minocycline for the past 2 years and felt much better. For the past few weeks I have been doing a self study and backed off everyday Minocycline use. I felt symptoms return after about 4 days and much worse after 2 weeks. I have since started Minocycline at 100mg twice a day and have been gradually getting better. IMO, Minocycline may be a lifelong thing and really does help me.
Anyone else tried a self study like this?
